NetModule High Speed Communication Module

The NetModule High Speed Communication Module is a high performance Single Board Computer (SBC) module aimed for the rapid development of industrial controllers and networking equipment. The module is best suited for low to medium volume designs with critical time to market and demanding environmental requirements.

The Module is built around the power efficient Freescale MPC8314 controller with integrated floating point unit and encryption engine supports a wide range of state-of-the-art interfaces:

The Module comes with a bootloader and field proven board support packages for VxWorks 6.x or Linux 2.6.x. Further operating systems on request.

Each Customer can choose the optimal solution from the NetModule licence model offering:

• Direct use of the standard module for small number of devices
• The Module Manufacurting Licence is a cost optimized solution for medium quantity projects and allows to produce modules by your own.
• The Technology Access Licence allows to change the device or to integrate the module into a single board solution to optimize COGS
