Condition Monitoring

NetModule has been making communication routers for over 20 years and can harness this experience – especially in the field of condition monitoring – to integrate a wide range of different technologies.

For a reliable network connection, NetModule routers support mobile networks (LTE/UMTS), WiFi, Ethernet, and fiber optics. Multiple WAN interfaces can be used for fallback connections to ensure uninterrupted network access.

Interfaces also include digital I/O, RS-232 or RS-485, CAN, and Bluetooth. The data recorded on the router can be transmitted to the central office via MQTT, SMS, or email, to name just a few. The easy programming options within the SDK (Software Development Kit) or LXC (Linux container) facilitate local data processing. The LXC technology allows applications to be installed on the router in isolation, making a separate PC installation unnecessary.

To provide a secure connection to the central office, the router software is equipped with an industry-standard VPN protocol suite and firewall by default. TS35 rail mounting, a wide operating temperature range (-40°C /-40°F to +85°C/+185°F), and an IP40 metal housing ensure smooth operation even under harshest conditions.

Routers can be safely managed, controlled, and monitored globally using the Connectivity Suite management platform.
