Video surveillance is a tool to increase general security, to help solve crimes such as vandalism, theft, or assaults. But surveillance also helps deter or prevent them in the first place.

To evaluate the collected video data, they must be transferred from the vehicle to the central office – and NetModule’s robust routers accomplish just that. The cameras can be connected to the router via Ethernet and can be powered using PoE. The router establishes a reliable network connection via several mobile network modules (4G/3G) to transmit the data regardless of location. This allows the cameras to be installed even in locations where a fixed network installation is difficult to implement.

The recorded video data can also be buffered on the router’s internal SSD and pre-processed using LXC.

Our sturdy routers are designed for a maximum temperature range of -40°C /-40°F to +70°C/+158°F and feature high electromagnetic compatibility. This makes them suitable for applications where mechanical stress, moisture, and dirt and soil are commonplace.
