The data sources for environmental monitoring are often located in places that are difficult to access, making wireless transmission necessary. Our mobile network routers facilitate simple network integration almost anywhere, using LTE/UMTS, Bluetooth, or WiFi Mesh. Sensors or actuators can be connected directly to the router thanks to various interfaces, and their data can be pre-processed locally. This allows the data volume to be minimized and alarms to be triggered immediately in the event of an incident.
To provide a secure connection to the central office, the router software is equipped with an industry-standard VPN protocol suite and firewall by default. With a compact metal housing, a maximum temperature range of -40°C /-40°F to +85°C/+185°F, and low power consumption, the routers are optimally suited for use in harsh environments.
