Central control and networking of lamps and equipping them with sensors helps prevent the waste of resources and forestall light pollution. Furthermore, the lighting infrastructure is increasingly used for additional services such as digital signage, traffic information, or traffic guidance.
The aim here is to achieve needs-based utilization and anticipatory maintenance of the outdoor lighting system.
Our mobile network routers make it easy to connect to the control center via LTE/UMTS. Several lamps can be locally interconnected via Bluetooth or WiFi Mesh.
Sensors or actuators can be connected through serial interfaces or digital I/O. To provide a secure connection to the central office, the router software is equipped with a VPN protocol suite and firewall by default.
The routers withstand even harsh outdoor conditions – they are designed for a maximum temperature range of -40°C /-40°F to +85°C/+185°F and come in a strong metal housing.
The Connectivity Suite management software lets you monitor, manage and update your routers.
