Intelligent solutions are needed to keep traffic flowing despite ever-increasing density. To be able to analyze traffic flows in real time and to meet Green-Light Optimized Speed Advisory (GLOSA) and Time-to-Green requirements, traffic lights and intersections are equipped with cameras and sensors. With our compact mobile network routers, these can be brought online quickly and flexibly, independent of their location. In addition to LTE, the routers also offer Ethernet, Bluetooth, serial interfaces. or WiFi Mesh to collect and forward data from various sources in real time. This makes it possible to react directly, right at the nearest available traffic junction.

Car park ticket vending machines or payment systems also need network links to securely integrate license-plate recognition, electronic payments, and other state-of-the-art technologies. For example, an LTE failover solution ensures that the systems remain online and functioning perfectly.

Data transmission in both scenarios requires secure connections. This is why the proven routers come with a powerful VPN protocol suite and an integrated firewall. With a compact metal housing, a maximum temperature range of -40°C /-40°F to +85°C/+185°F, and low power consumption, the routers are optimally suited for use in harsh environments.

Routers can be maintained and monitored using NetModule’s Connectivity Suite management platform. It is web-based and manages your routers from a central location.
