Of course, we as Belden are committed to providing the most reliable, secure solutions to ensure peace-of-mind for our customers, we continually review our products for issues arising from global security attacks. We remain committed to addressing potential security vulnerabilities (CVEs) as quickly as possible. In some cases, this may require an added, unscheduled release. For example, a dedicated cybersecurity patch.
Hereβs what we have planned for the current release paths:

Version 5.0 is based on the previous versions 4.9 and 4.8 release. Version 4.8 has been fully integrated into version 4.9, including an updated kernel within version 4.9. This integration enables seamless further development and ensures that all improvements and security updates from version 4.8 are included in version 4.9. This then formed the basis for version 5.0, which builds on these optimized and updated functions. With this release cadence rolling-release, we will have no more sub-paths, this 5.0 version will be continuously evolved afterwards.
To ensure the security of your devices and data, it is crucial to always install the latest updates. With each updated version, you receive important security improvements and customizations that protect your devices from the latest threats.
